Head of Marketing

We are looking for an exceptional Head of Marketing to lead the strategic and operational marketing agenda of Culligan Hungary.

This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can blend brand building with performance marketing to drive sustainable growth. You will partner closely with the local Managing Director and cross-functional teams to deliver a roadmap that aligns business goals with the power of marketing.

Key Responsibilities:       

   1. Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy and Roadmap (15%)

  • Design and execute marketing strategies aligned with business goals
  • Partner with the Managing Director and the Director Customer Experience and cross-functional teams (sales, product, operations) to activate integrated go-to-market plans
  • Ensure alignment between BU needs and global marketing strategy and brand vision
  1. Strengthen Brand Positioning and Visibility (15%)
  • Guide innovation strategies to boost brand recognition and digital performance
  • Define the Unique Value Proposition (UVP) and articulate clear product benefits for compelling storytelling
  • Be the voice of the customer, embedding consumer insights into every marketing initiative
  1. Drive Digital Performance and Conversion (10%)
  • Lead all digital marketing efforts: SEO/SEM, email, online advertising, CRO
  • Collaborate with Brand Managers to map consumer journeys and define messaging hierarchy for key segments
  • Build lead generation strategies with the right marketing mix, content, and channel planning
  • Transform insights into breakthrough ideas that spark relevance, conversation, and awareness
  1. Own and Optimize the Marketing Budget (20%)
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget with strong ROI focus
  • Define and track performance KPIs, using data to inform and optimize strategies
  1. Lead Portfolio Management and Innovation (10%)
  • Identify market trends, consumer insights, and competitive threats
  • Support Product teams in defining MVPs, product-market fit, and positioning
  1. Elevate Content, Social, and Influencer Strategies (10%)
  • Build content engines that fuel engagement across platforms (web, social, video, blog, etc.)
  • Develop influencer and social strategies that connect with local communities and elevate the brand
  1. Build and Lead an A-Player Marketing Team (20%)
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent
  • Foster a culture of performance, ownership, creativity, and collaboration

Who you are:

You are a strategic, driven, and versatile marketing leader with a proven ability to deliver impact in complex, fast-evolving environments. You bring a blend of strategic vision, executional excellence, and leadership maturity that defines A-Players.

 

Must-Have Experience & Track Record

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g. Marketing Director / Head of Marketing / Marketing Manager)
  • Proven success in leading both brand building and performance marketing, ideally in multi-channel environments (e.g. B2C, B2B, services, or recurring-revenue businesses)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, attract A-players, and manage with clarity and accountability
  • Experience in budget ownership, with strong focus on ROI, cost-efficiency, and impact
  • Track record of launching successful campaigns, products, and/or repositioning efforts that drove commercial results
