JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Hungarian HR Manager, the HR Generalist will be responsible for the administration of employee onboarding, lifecycle and offboarding processes; supporting the local managers and employees with HR related tasks and supporting the Implementation and development of HR processes in Hungary.
The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing a range of HR tasks that include recruitment and onboarding, training and development, safety initiatives, employee relations, HR communications, maintenance of employee records, and other HR functions as assigned.
These responsibilities include:
Recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle and offboarding:
- process position requisitions, post job openings, source candidates, attend job fairs, administer HR software, coordinate and attend interviews, administer candidate assessment programs, send offer letters, etc.
- supporting the implementation of innovative sourcing strategies and recruiting programs/practices to help create a pipeline of diverse top talent of Culligan HR Strategy,
- handle on-boarding/off-boarding processes such as background checks, new hire/term checklists, development of onboarding program(s), distribution of orientation materials, HR training, terminations, exit interviews,
- assist in the continuous development of standardized onboarding/offboarding programs,
- building employee loyalty, decrease employee turnover, improve eNPS,
- supporting employees with career development plans,
- supporting the development of employee recognition programs, service awards,
- gifts, welcome bags, wellness initiatives, etc.
HR processes:
- active involvement in the development and implementation of the Culligan HR strategy, processes and services which will result in a world class workplace and employee experience,
- understand Culligan Group’s processes, localization and implementations of these,
- harmonize and standardize HR processes in accordance with local HR regulations,
- ensure compliance with company HR policies and local, state, and federal laws and regulations,
- understand employee needs, translation of these needs to the management,
- support the establishing and propagate a robust Culligan Culture among employees, fostering a sustainable and gratifying work environment.
Training & competence development:
- supporting the management with planning and implementing training programs,
- understanding and supporting the implementation of best practices throughout the Culligan Group which supports competence development,
- supporting the implementation of Culligan’s competence development program,
- coordinate employee initiatives for the organization such as employee social events, learning weeks,
Coordination and reporting:
- supporting employees with HR related questions,
- support for the local managers in HR related tasks,
- reporting & follow-up of the HR activities, as per local and Group requirements,
- participating on regular HR- and business unit meetings,
Payroll:
- coordinate and execute the payroll processes,
- supporting and preparing the entry of receipts before and after,
- close cooperation with the finance department and the payroll partners.
Others:
- collaborate with the Culligan Group’s HR teams on professional development initiatives/tasks, including training requests, research of training/programs,
- assist HR Managers in providing guidance and support to the international requirements of Group or EMEA HR engagement initiatives, and help identify opportunities to advance diversity, equity and inclusion,
- provide administrative support to the EMEA Human Resources Team as needed,
- supporting the M&A programs and integration initiatives,
- supporting the execution of the Health and Safety program and processes,
- HR communications, employee communication, supporting the implementation of the communication platforms (e.g. Hey Culligan).
COMPETENCE & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- proven track record in HR administration and/or execution for at least 3 years,
- general knowledge of HR core processes, international and local HR regulations,
- result-oriented personality; ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task,
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with employees on all levels,
- good people management skills, experience in supporting leadership teams; team working skills,
- must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality,
- ability to exercise sound judgment when making decisions and to effectively problem-solve,
- excellent networking skills,
- ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment, resistance to stress,
- college or university-level education,
- strong written and verbal communication skills in Hungarian, fluent in English,
- proficiency with MS Office Suite.
