Digital Growth & Performance Executive

We are looking for a high-performing Digital Performance & Growth Executive to own the digital marketing strategy and its execution for Hungary. This is a critical leadership-& executor / hands-on role, designed for a data-driven and commercially focused marketer who thrives on growth, performance, and making digital the engine of the business.

You will be responsible for defining and executing digital strategies that fuel lead generation, optimize conversion, and increase marketing ROI. You will lead digital agencies and collaborate with regional/global stakeholders, brand, sales, and IT to ensure seamless execution across the funnel.

Key Responsibilities:   

  1. Develop and Execute Digital Strategies (30%)

  • Define and implement innovative digital marketing strategies aligned with category and business goals
  • Drive execution across digital channels: performance media, website, CRO, SEO/SEM, email, and more
  • Identify and implement digital trends that enable continuous business growth, prioritizing initiatives with the highest impact and alignment to BU objectives
  • Champion digital strategies anchored on customer journey and user experience
  • Monitor the competitive digital landscape, identify emerging trends, and translate them into actionable initiatives
  • Deliver full-funnel strategies from awareness to lead generation and conversion
  1. Drive Performance Optimization and Growth Through Data (30%)
  • Own and optimize digital KPIs: traffic, cost-per-lead, conversion rate, bounce rate, and others
  • Analyze digital performance reports and campaign outcomes to drive business decisions
  • Oversee CRO and website optimization to improve user experience and results
  • Present insights and strategic recommendations to the Head of Marketing on a regular basis
  • Coordinate and collaborate with agencies, platforms, and digital vendors to ensure high-quality execution
  • Optimize digital touchpoints to improve customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
  1. Lead and Develop digital capabilities for Hungary (20%)
  • Build and execute the digital performance and lead the digital agency (SEO, content, paid media, CRO, etc.)
  • Foster a collaborative, agile, and high-performance team culture
  • Build and manage cross-functional teams (e.g. digital, brand, agencies), fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Work cross-functionally with brand, sales, social, and IT to ensure consistency and alignment
  • Work collaboratively with the brand team to define the right approach to performance while maintaining a strong brand core identity
  1. Manage the Digital Marketing Budget (10%)
  • Own the digital marketing budget and resource allocation to maximize impact and ROI
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to optimize tools, platforms, and investments
  1. Ensure Digital Risk Management and Compliance (10%)
  • Oversee data privacy compliance (e.g. GDPR) and ensure ethical digital marketing practices
  • Safeguard the brand’s online reputation and ensure regulatory alignment in all digital activities

Must-Have Experience

  • 7–10 years of experience in digital marketing, with ownership of lead generation and performance metrics
  • Proven track record in driving full-funnel digital strategies with measurable business outcomes
  • Experience managing high-performing teams and collaborating across functions (sales, brand, IT, agencies)
  • Deep understanding of website optimization, analytics, paid media, SEO/SEM, and marketing automation
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills — able to translate data into strategic actions
  • Experience working in fast-moving, performance-driven environments, ideally in “big start-up” or transformation contexts
